Academic and Professional Background

Formerly a business administration student and research assistant at the Freie Universität Berlin (Institute for Business Taxation and Auditing). Prior to her position as a professor at the Fachhochschule für Wirtschaft Berlin, she served as a head auditor in the audit department of a credit institute. Major fields of teaching and research include international accounting standards such as International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US-GAAP).
